Battery Eliminator
The eliminator
circuit for 12 V needs is shown in the diagram. It is a regulated 12V
supply. The step down transformer, rectifier diodes, and filter capacitor
forms the basic eliminator circuit. The IC 7812 is a 12 V,1
A regulator IC, its out put will be constant irrespective of small changes
in line voltage or load currents. Its typical current rating is 1A. the transformer rating must be just more than our out put needs
; so I select a 18V trs. If you need other voltage
out puts, 7803 for 3V, 7805 for 5V, 7809 for 9V, etc are also available
in the market. The transformer ratings also must be selected as per your
requirements. |
